Biography

Jennifer Brooks is the founder of Abundance In Him Ministries. Truths of Scripture are communicated with passion and sincerity as she speaks from a heart in love with Jesus and a first-hand perspective of His life changing power. With an unswerving conviction that the Word of God is living and active, personal application is emphasized in all her teachings.   Jennifer hosts a radio teaching program that is aired Monday – Friday at 10:45 on 95.9 FM The Light. She is a speaker at retreats, conferences, and other ministry events, and has authored two interactive Bible studies entitled Stand In Awe and Embracing An Aching Heart: A Biblical Approach to the Oppressed.

Jennifer and her husband Joe have three sons, Matt, Chris, and Jacob. They are active members of Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Youngstown, Ohio where she teaches an adult Sunday School class. Her educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Youngstown State University.

“I am a woman who has known the crushing weight of sin, the anguish of brokenness, and the utter despair of hopelessness. Unaware of the peril of my young soul, God saw it fit in His sovereign plan to let my ears hear and my heart receive the message of His gospel that was proclaimed to me through my husband soon after we met and began dating. I can remember thinking, ‘I’ll know this guy is serious about me if invites me to church!’ He invited, and the Holy Spirit convicted.

Several years after that time I learned that groups existed for the purpose of studying the Bible! I enrolled in the women’s Bible study at my home church, sat front and center, and asked more questions than any toddler on his best day! As I studied, the Holy Spirit gripped my heart and fanned into flame an insatiable hunger to know and love our God through Scripture. I have found truth, freedom, and intimacy with the Almighty, and I am absolutely zealous to see others come to know the same.”
